When Pretoria Fields Brewery opened in downtown Albany in the winter of 2017, it was not only the first family-owned brewery in the area, it was Georgia’s first farmhouse craft brewery. Behind the beers of Pretoria Fields Brewery is a collective of farmers and brewers working together to produce slow beer made with ingredients sown in the Georgia soil.

It was the vision of the collective to create delicious beer and a place for the community to meet. From the fields to the fermentation tanks and all the way to the glasses of their patrons. Pretoria Fields is proud of what is happening in the collective. The conversations around the tasting room tables, friendly competitive games of cornhole or live music in the courtyard all represent the vivacity of our community. Pretoria Fields Brewery was designed to serve the community- think of it as your place.
