WALB-TV, located in Albany, GA, was established on April 7, 1954, as the second television station in Georgia. At its inception, it had no network affiliate, no videotape, and only offered limited live programming. Today, WALB is a leading television and digital news source for Southwest Georgia. It broadcasts multiple stations 24/7 from its original Albany location at 1709 Stuart Avenue and manages various apps and websites to keep our communities informed anytime, anywhere.
